What is love?
Love is essential in it's many forms. There is nothing more important. Whether it is from a friend, family member, or partner, it keeps us going.
No amount of money or possessions can generate happiness. A person will never be happy if they do not have the ability to love themselves and others, or to let themselves be loved.
I have been extremely lucky. I've grown up with very supporting parents, family, neighbors, and friends. We've felt and shared each other’s pain and loss, as well as happiness and joy. I immensely value the close relationships with the people who I love and who love me. They are the people who give meaning to my life and allow me to be the happy person that I am.

Short and to the point. Highlighting the joys of love. If I were to make one suggestion, you are leaving out one of the inevitabilities of love, which is that of heart break. You I would think would be able to understand that concept, but nonetheless you did a great job describing its finer aspects and necessities.
Thanks. I tried to keep it simple and just talk about love in general, not falling in love. Plus, a lot of things I have to say about it would be too personal to write about on the internet and would require hours of thought (not the thirty minutes that we had) before I would be ready for anyone to read my thoughts on WHAT LOVE IS!
I would say that heart break serves the necessary purpose of enlightening to someone who thinks they are in love that they really aren't. If you truly loved someone, it would be impossible for them to hurt you. If they cheated on you, you would insist that they leave you to be with the person they liked more than you. If they left you'd, you'd be happy for them, as they were searhing for a new love that meant more to them
Sometimes the only way to truly understand what love is, you need to talk about past feelings and emotions with someone else.
